College Development

The “Building On Success” development projects are coming along at pace in both the Senior and Junior Schools.

Planning permission granted November 2015 for development of outdoor facilities:

• Redevelopment of rugby pitches (work began April 2016)
• All weather pitch, just short of full size, to be ready September 1^st
• The new grass pitch, full size, will have aeration fitted
• Discussions are ongoing for a 2^nd all weather pitch opposite swimming pool.
• Tennis courts, junior playground, running track to be redeveloped

Works on sports hall commenced before Easter:

• Renovating changing rooms
• Painting, decorating, upgrading entrance lobby
• During Summer holidays, installation of Junker Beech floor
• Acquisition of roll out carpet enabling the Hall to be used as a multifunctional facility

Senior School Science Labs:

• Maintainance and upgrading ongoing
• Recently rewired, replumbed, and painted

Physics Lab scheduled for upgrading shortly

Funding

• Raised from community of parents, past pupils and friends
• Pledges as of May 1^st, 3.84 million of which1.2 million has been spent
• Further 2.23 million pledged over 5 year period (includes tax benefit rebate from returned CHY certs)
