In recent years the Annual Business Lunch has grown into a regular fixture on the business calendar for many of our members and their guests.  

Our lunch this year takes place in the Four Seasons on Friday, April 20th.  Complimentary aperitifs will be served from 12.30.  The price of this years event remains unchangedfrom 2011, at just €50 per person.

In an effort to attract a younger audience, and in keeping with our theme this year, we are offering 3 tables to interested pupils from between 5-10 years out for a reduced price of €25 per person. We would therefore encourage younger members of the Union to attend this event.

Now more than ever it is important for those in business to leverage every opportunity to network, find out what old friends are up to and to let people know about your own ventures.  The Union Business Lunch provides an ideal opportunity to do all of the above, as well as scope to learn from the fascinating experiences of our guest speakers.

This year our theme is Youth, Entrepreneurship & Technology, and our keynote address will be delivered by Iain MacDonald.  

Iain can be described as a serial entrepreneur with a passion for high growth ventures.  He has a track record of growing young, entrepreneurial companies within the tech sector.  He was the founder & CEO of Perlico, set up in 2003, which was subsequently sold to Vodafone in 2007.  

His new venture, Skillpages (www.skillpages.com) now has offices in Dublin, USA & Singapore. Iain, is also an angel investor to technology start-ups such as Startupbootcamp and Catchfree. 

Iain is a regular speaker at tech industry events such as Founders Forum and the Dublin Web Summit.
